Do you measure or blindly dose? If the latter you should IMHO test alk then only dose equal amounts of calcium and alk. then wait until the alk drops down again.

If you dose alk and calc to close together. (Time wise) it will cause precipitation. Dose one and than wait 30 min or more and dose the other

I mix my own Alk and Ca from dry materials. Usually get it from BRS. I would recommend checking parms before dosing if you aren't doing so. Also as others have said don't dose both too close together and if something gets low its best to bring it up slowly, not only to avoid precipitation, but to avoid any other issues. Also I highly recommend checking the big 3 when dosing. Alk, Ca, and Mg. Low Mg can cause this. I don't dose Mg because it stays fairly stable with water changes.

1 could be your magnesium,,, naturally calium and carbonate, which is alk. will bind together.. the magnesium is what is naturally the separator or lack of a better term the thing that makes them not stick lol... ive seen tanks literally look like its snowing... 2 could be its not mixed all the way,,, are you using a powder,,, are you making sure its mixed completely before you use it,,, 3 maybe if 1 and 2 are wrong could be your additives are old.. how old are they?... other than that I would just make sure you are testing and using the correct amount... dose in a high flow area,,, if you can try to dose small amounts through out the day,,, maybe s x amount of ml in the morning,, x amount after work or at lunch... x amout after dinner and or before you go to bed... it will be more stable like that aswell.... or just buy a auto doser.. lol...... I hope I helped,, if I can think of anything else ill let you know

Thanks for the help I do think I will be getting a dosing system this is how my tank looks now

Try and break your dosing up if you can. Shoot for maybe 3x a week to begin with (is hard to remember manual dosing for me) and then take it to more, breaking your amount up. Then, try and give, say a little bit between your a and b, as others have suggested.

Also, and please don't be insulted, be sure that your "not" mixing the two parts together and then dosing that solution into your tank. I just had to throw that in there because, well, you never know.

Hope it gets better though. .

I really meant no offense. When u was typing I was having one of those "shouldn't say it moments".

But I don't blame you one bit! I personally love mine also. .

Even making a dripper from a container and some airline can be a workable solution (look in the R2R DIY forum), but somehow you have to slow the rate of alkalinity additive entering the water. (Alkalinity is the only one that's causing issues by making a change in pH as it dissolves into your water. Ca and Mg you can generally dump in away from any corals and be fine.)

If it helps, you can even dilute the alk dose 200-300% and dose it by hand that way. A very slow pour might do the trick once it's diluted....but if you're dosing any significant quantity this will make your arm tired! ;) I even use the dilution trick with dosers sometimes.

Hope this helps!
