Hey all!

Moving places in about a month and moving my tank with it.
The plan so far is to move my critters, coral and live rock a day before into temporary "QT" tanks and containers at the new place. I would then move the tank the next day and set it up. My question is on the sandbed. My last move I tossed it and started new. I'm leaning that way this time, but have seen some have success moving their bed with the tank. I have a lot of nassa snails that I'll sift out regardless. Of note, I've been doing the ATI Essentials program of no water changes since about March, so there have been no sand bed cleanings/stir ups since then. It's a Reefer 250 with about 10 small fish (clowns are the biggest)

Thoughts? New sand or try to use?

how far are you going?? If less than 2hrs I would save the sandbed and it beneficial fauna.

About an hour away. I could take it, it's just that the sand is likely VERY dirty because I'm not doing water changes with the method I'm using.
