Hello everyone, I bought a 25 gallon rimless aquarium recently but the pedestal I was planning on placing it on is a tad bit smaller than it. There is a .7" size difference going from the front to back between the tank and stand. Is this amount of overhang okay or would it cause issues down the line?

Rimless tank is precious like an eggshell. Personally I would not. Safer to put a proper fitting piece of plywood under for reinforcement IMO of course.

No way, particularly on a rimless tank. You could get a piece of 3/4" ply measuring the footprint of the tank and THEN place the tank on top.

I would make an additional Plywood Top bigger than the Aquarium in all directions. It’s nice to have a ledge to set something down on. Also I’d make it big enough in the back to shield a power strip from drips and splashes.
