Tank transfer method with corals?

Hey guys and @Humblefish. Im swapping displays and im wondering if i could TTM corals as well as my fish?

I know the fallow DT time is based on the seemingly rare cyst that doesnt burst until much later so thats why i ask. If i TTM my corals separately from my fish during my upgrade, do i need to still do a fallow period?

TTM doesn't doesn't work for corals.

It works for fish, because ich can only stay on the fish for 3-7 days. It doesn't work for anything else wet, because ich can stay encysted on anything wet for several weeks or longer.

That being said, living coral flesh won't harbor ich, but the rock or plug or dead underside could.

What in the fish's body cause it to stay on the fish such a short time but outside the fish so long?
