This is the time of year that people always start to talk about their tax return plans.

What are you planning to use them on? Reef related only!

I've told the wife that I plan on getting some new lights...that's going to be my big purchase....and I may hit up a vendor for one nice piece of coral :)

Well mine is kind of odd, it is reef related, but it not for my tank. I am planning a trip to either Fiji or Bora Bora. Maybe we will get some back and we can go! I promise to observe the reef and wildlife while there though!

Awesome!!! Take pics if you go to the fiji reefs!!!!

After all the bills are paid off!!! Of course! I plan on making it down to WWC for the first time. Im ready!! There are a few chalices i been holding out for. Hopefully i will be bringing them home :D

i plan on some coral.. maybe a strip or 2 across of leds for a little more pop (not wanting to overdue it). maybe a new sump.. 1-2 mp40w are on the list.

I dove in Bora Bora, it doesn't get better than that. As far as a tax return, I owe them a lot so I won't be spending any tax return.

speg didnt you just have a post about power out and how to save the tank from it??? might put a generator on that list lol

but i gotta pay off bills, will save me more money in the long run if i do

I think I'm going to pay down my credit card balance and not rack it up this high ever again until next year.

My wife won't allow me to fill up our already stuffed apartment with a generator...but the battery backup solution is an option.

Actually, even when it's freezing out, my apartment stays pretty cool. We're wedged between three other buildings and on the bottom floor...I've never had to run the heat in this place.

then i would look up some of the battery backups. like i said people have ran them with deep cycle batteries and heard they worked fairly well for several hours. if all your running is a heater and a current maker it isnt gonna take much juice. so would last a good while. i had a link for them but i seem to have lost it .. someone on here made one not long ago so might do some looking around.

I think I saw somewhere on an old forum where a person used a car battery or a boat battery to run their stuff temporarily.
