My display tank was damaged by my house sitters so it needed to be replaced. Original 40 gallon breeder with glass holes 700 in and out for overflow. Replaced with 40 gallon breeder with synergy reef overflow.

Replacement steps: Drilled the two holes

Installed overflow and painted back black

Started taking down old display

All rock and corals plus my watchman goby and pistol shrimp. Shrimp hit under the sand so took a minute to find him.

Took apart plumbing for old tank and started routing the top to accommodate the synergy reef overflow plumbing.

Started the plumbing work. Dry fitting everything before gluing it into place.

And got everything up and running again. I will post some pics tomorrow after the water clears back up and my day lighting comes back on.
