Hey all, I had a salt water tank for a few years. Recently got lazy and now decided to clean house. I removed all fish rock and sand. I scrubbed the tank, scrubbed and boiled the rock then scrubbed again, purchased new sand. Put everything back in and started the cycle process last week. 2 days after, mind you no fish have entered the tank I’ve noticed eggs on my rock.

I’ve had clowns that have laid eggs but these do not look the same at all.
Any help to identify would be a great help.
Thanks,

My first instinct was clownfish eggs too, but you’re right, they are kind of milky looking. You can see the eyes in the eggs. So it just about has to be eggs. Is this where your clowns normally breed? Mine lay eggs in the same spot every time. Boiled clownfish eggs maybe?

It does look like eggs! Agreed with @Vette67 boiled clown fish eggs. Unless somehow something snuck in and mysteriously started laying eggs!

My clowns also laid in the same spot each time. But no not the same spot.
