This got totally bleached when I put this in my tank....the dude told me to put it at the top.....I did.....he had 2 year old 175w MH......I have 2 month old 180w LED......bleached almost immediately.....

But I am convinced it is still alive.....am I wrong? I hope not as the video is titled as "still feeding"

Definitely alive....just bleached. I would move it down.

awesome.....yeah he bleached over the course of about 3 hours.....I moved him down....to where he is in this video about 2 weeks ago....feeders just started coming out within the past 3 days....each day more so than the previous one.

But someone asked me if I was sure it wasn't just melting.....made me think.

I never was big into SPS....this is all new to me

It is easy to see that this particular frag is alive in your pic. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell when their polyps are retracted. If it smells like acropora, it's alive...

If it is bleached from light it would have color on the bottom and pale on the top. That looks like a nutrition problem. Do you run ULNS or carbon dose?

Actually it has fallen a couple times and was not always put back the same way
