I found a rather enormous syringe which I believe to be a great tool for blasting aiptasia. I boiled some rodi water in a container, sucked it up, and torched 3 in my tank. One was large and hidden inside of a cave but the flexible tube was perfect for it. There is minimal collateral damage because the water quickly dissipates and drops to tank temp after hitting the rock. It will bleach a small spot of coralline at the target site but it's minor.
The idea of blasting aiptasia with hot water is not new but I've never seen it done with this type of syringe so I thought I would share since this form has given me so much.
Here's a pic of it in my hand so you get an idea of its size
and a link to where I purchased it.
