When buying fish at an LSF or online the prices are generally better for smaller fish. But are tiny fish 1.5inches or less, less likely to survive? My tank is a 90gal setup with a 72gal DT- I was thinking of adding a Tomini Tang that is for sale that is 3/4-1.25 inches. The only other fish in the tank are 2 fire fish and a lagoon goby so nothing there to bully it. Other than the cost factor I think its pretty cool to watch the fish grow. Any other considerations for adding tiny fish?

Ive had little success with tiny fish especially convict tangs
While not saying they wont survive, challenges are generally feeding, water current to aggressive for them and aggression from others

got my goldflake angel 1 1/2" now like 4"
