Thoughts on plumbing

So I am about ready to finish plumbing my sump. Any thoughts on anything I should change before I glue it in place. The tank will be under the brown stand and lines ran behind both stands and will have pvc supported by holders. How deep do you guys have your overflow going into your filter socks. This a hob overflow and not drilled into the tank. Thanks for help
