I am up to the time now where I need powerheads for my build. I am looking to do my best to keep the cost as low as I can but still get a decent product. My initial thoughts for a 65 gallon FOWLR to start then some softies about 6 months in are , 2 Hydor Koralia Evolution 1050-1150 power heads running alternating with a Hydor Smart Wave Circulation Pump Controller. Will this be enough flow? too much flow? is there a better option of a complete setup for less than $150 range?
Thanks for the help.
Darren

They are easy to set up and lots of available information and videos if you have any difficulty’s

I've been using the icecap 3k for the last few months. Despite many reviews I find it's very quiet and I like the fact it came with screens to keep curious critters from getting chopped up

I have had some experience with a normal constant flow powerhead but NOT a wave maker type. Any tips on where I should be placing these inside aquarium? One on each side facing center, back wall, High or low? Any input would be greatly helpful.
Thanks,
Darren

A lot will have to do with your aquascape. I did a lot of trial and error before I settled on a location and flow rate, I mainly observed my corals to see if they liked what they were getting
