Timer for Fluval Evo 13.5

Hi all,

Thanks for having me!
I've had freshwater tanks for a while now but have decided to finally make the move to saltwater. I've got almost everything I need. Only thing is I can't find a Fluval ramp timer (I saw people have been using it on the stock lights). Can anyone suggest another similar timer, with the sunrise/sunset option, that would do a similar job?
I have some other questions too.
I'm struggling to find an Eheim Jager heater in Japan. Is there a similar, reliable heater out there?
Another newbee question. I bought Caribsea life rock and some aragalive sand. Will these help me cut down on cycling time?
Finally, if I get a watchman goby/pistol shrimp pair, will the shrimp actually do any cleaning? If not, could I add a fire shrimp to the tank too or will it end in tears for one of the shrimp?

Pistol shrimp aren't cleaners but you can add a fire shrimp as well. They most likely will never interact.

Does this app work with the Fluval Evo stock lighting?

Nope, stock light is just an on/off. No way to ramp this simplistic light.
