Looking for help with an identification of some baby snails that are multiplying in my tank. Some are black and some have brown stripes. In a matter of a couple weeks, I have had an outbreak of babies to the extent they are peppered across the sand and rocks. Concerned by their numbers, my coral appear mostly fine. I have one Sunset Montipora that has a white “eaten”

I added trochus snails as part of my initial cleaning crew, didn’t know they could be black. Shape is certainly a match. Never intended for them to multiply. It is a newer tank, and I intended to pull the snails out once the tank is matured and corals more established. Hope they don’t die off and create problems is they deplete the food supply to zero. Wondering if anyone has tried siphoning them out using airline tubing?
