I just noticed these star looking things growing on the glass of the aquarium. Anyone know what they are?

I see pods and hydroids. Remove droids with an old credit card into a net and discard. they are capable of stinging coral should they get close to one

Is this a normal outbreak and will they go away on their own or should I clean them off?
Is there anything that will eat it? Will a six line wrasse eat them?

Tank is new and only been running for a few months.

To go away. . . you have to starve them by not allowing food especially their favorite- Brine shrimp. Thats why its best to manually remove

agree with hydroid, though I'd also caution that hydroid can be a precursor of a aptasia infestation. aptasia looks just like that when they are babies too

I don’t feed brine shrimp at all. Only mysis shrimp one to two times a week. The main food for the fish is pelets for now.

ill try and scrape them off but they’re soooo tiny that there is no way I would be able to catch them in the net. Maybe I can scrape up and out of the tank since it’s rimless.
