Yes, sorry I didn't specify that. The plastic one does a pretty good job, and if I need to really scrap the glass I use on of the continuum scrapers with a metal blade. Those work great.
Dang is that why i keep seeing random micro scratches? Good thing its only on the side glass and petco tank but still my tank lol. Thanks

Ahhh I understand the budget thing! Never used the hydras before but I would think that for what your wanting to do with LPS and softies that will be plenty. I couldn't seeing you need a 3rd.
Got my scape open In the centre anyway as I wanted some open swimming space so won't have corals there anyway. Both lights are currently over the scape. 3rd light will come if I get into sps

I honestly don't know why it did it because there was no sand in the under the blade when it did it. But it left a nice probably 10 inch long scratch in the glass. And another probably 3.5-4 inch scratch in another spot. Super upsetting but what can you do? And the worst part is the tank isn't even a year old yet!

That's how my scape is as well. Because I knew I wanted to stock on the heavier side as far as fish goes. And I hear you about the 3rd light and sps. LOL. I have 4 radion xr15 pro gen 5 and I have a hard time hitting 300 in my tank at the highest spots on my rock work. And that's taking the reading woth all flow turned off and diffusers off the lights. So if I ever do go sps dominant like I would like to down the road I'm going to have to add at least 2 more xr15's to the tank unfortunately. So for now I'm just gonna run it lps dominate and do low light.

I think lps and softies look awesome anyway. I do like montis though for sps so that may be the only sps I do choose to get at some point. dang lights are so expensive to add more lol

I do agree with you there that lps look awesome. Only softies I really have are shrooms and a isolated island of GSP. Mostly blastos and micros at this point. The blastos are definitely my favorite. And yes very expensive for what they are. Lol. Especially the fact in today's day and age that they are Bluetooth only! I mean come on give us Wi-Fi on them. Even for the return pumps and powerheads. That way you can pull up Mobius or my AI app anywhere if you wanted to look at something.
