Hey everyone,

I have a tank that is 5 foot by 2 foot by 18 inch high and I only have 8 fish. Sounds like a light stocking but 3 of them are tangs and I'm curious on if you guys think that's to much.

The tangs I have is a white tail bristletooth, a purple tang and a powder blue. They are all juveniles and I am curious if my tank is big enough for them or if I should give up one of them? The aggression is fairly tame thought I've noticed the white tail with some torn find here and there.

If curious my other fish are as follows
baby mandarin
2 clowns
Springer damsel
Cleaner wrasse

Please let me know what you think.

Think you are fine. You could add a few more small to medium fish if you wanted.
I mean to be honest I won't lol, main reason I was keeping stocking low was so the range would be less stressed. But maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I guess I'm more trying to think of when fully grown

Yep, I have 5 adult tangs in 6 ft tank for almost 10 years. They like poking around the rocks and nibbling on the algae but have room for a burst of swimming if they feel the need.

What tangs do you have if you don't mind me asking
