Hey all, just wanted to know who your top 2-3 vendors are. Please no bad mouthing anyone, no complaints. Lets keep everything positive.

When i think of good vendors here are my criteria:
1) Are they professional and have good communication
2) Does the picture represent true color when you get the coral **most important for me**
3) Is the size as advertised
4) was it professionally packed and shipped.
5) In case of loss or disappointment, do they make it up to you for customer satisfaction.

Keeping above points in mind, who are your top 2-3 ? Let me start with mine:

1)WWC
2) Cherry Corals

For coral, my top 3, in no particular order are:

1. Battlecorals

2. Battlecorals

3. Battlecorals

I don't know them or have any affiliation with them beyond being a satisfied customer.

Never ordered anything from battle corals.. maybe I should check them out

Monterey Bay Corals

Pieces Of The Ocean

Aqua SD

Not in any sort of order, just three I have been extremely pleased with the corals/fish, shipping, and customer service :)

1. Cherry corals
2. Live aquaria (wont say very awesome, but least bad)

I know battlecorals and wwc is also good, since I have seen fellow reefers getting stuff from them, but I personally have never ordered from them (have relatively smaller, and stocked tank). I would trust them as well, .. in fact i'll add jason fox in the list of trusted vendors as well.

1. Boom Corals - his photos are spot on, corals look amazing, and his customer service and communication are phenomenal. Super nice guy and he lives not to far away from me so I travel down and visit him from time to time. He's my #1 go to hands down.

#2 uniquecorals.com ordered from them 3 or 4 times, and each time was a positive experience. Corals were exactly as described,
Shipped and delivered exactly on time.
#3 liveaquaria.com I've never had then ship anything to me as they're located relatively close to me so I always take advantage of their facility tours and coral purchasing event. But their facility is clean and well kept and the corals and staff seem friendly and knowledgeable

Just used Reefers Direct for the first time. Very happy with the frags they sent and the nice added help listed on the bags for flow and light. I'm now looking to only use good shops that refund for DOA or dent charge shipping again. I've had a few things not live and it sucks to have a credit for 1 or 2 things only to pay shipping again. Looking like I need to try Boom next and then Battle.

Reefcleaners for CUC crew- John always tosses extra snails/crabs in to account for any DOA's (And I hardly have any DOAs). He's awesome in helping you pick out the crew you need for any size tank

Live Aquaria has awesome customer service, they've never once let me down.

I agree with Reef cleaners I ordered clean up Crews from him before. I had one issue once, but I emailed him and he was very quick to respond and take care of it. he sent me stuff that I was shorted at no extra charge next day no questions asked

Reefcleaners for rock and CUC.
Marine Depot
All live stock I get local

Per your criteria, that’s a good list. I include value as part of my evaluation. Therefore Adam at BC is the top of my list. Matt at boomcorals might be second, but I’ve not received my order from him yet. Based on customer service he is right up there with Adam. I guess those are my top two.

Any of you have a recommended vendor with a good selection of softies? Not looking for Zoas

Tidal Gardens - Where I've ordered most of my corals. True to photo/live sale, very clean, extremely well packaged and very accommodating about shipping when you want them. Good prices.
Aqua SD - Just got a shipment from them today. Gorgeous frags, very true to pics. Clean, packed well and shipment included an extra frag. Great prices and will buy again.
I've not ordered from anyone else yet, but I would order from WWC.
