I'm wondering what your guys experience is with these. I've heard Than(Tidal Gardens) reference them twice. His comment was that he doesn't see anything eat them, they are hard to see and resistant to dips. He also went as far to say as they are one of his most dreaded pests.

I've experienced the same thing with these in my tank. I had a torch that didn't look completely happy for some time and finally found it had these worms. I dip all my coral in coralRX

When dipping it seems it takes a prolonged time for these guys to show up. It almost seems like the are deep within the skeleton.

I had a time where I dipped this torch, which looked to be free of them and a surprising number showed up in the dip.

I ended up dipping it a couple times a week apart or so. It has been looking much healthier and extending more. It has had two mouths forever and finally is starting to split.

Last night I was looking at the tank and noticed the worms on the same torch again. At one point they had migrated to another of my torches but have never seen them on any other euphyllia.

What would be the best course of action? Dip weekly for a period of time or would more frequently than a week be better?

Fortunately I do not have experience with these pest.Maybe this thread a a bump will help

Thanks.

I dipped the torch last night. It has been looking pretty good but wow did it have a lot of these worms.
