so i have posted plenty of times with pictures how my torch doesn't sting its neighboring hammer etc...
I have a different torch colony, maybe 6-7 heads on the other side of the tank...
Well that was close to my quad bubble nem, but at least 5 inches between their tentacles fully extended. So i did a water change 2 days ago and I must have annoyed my bubble tip that it moved a few inches closer to the torch. Still far enough but i didn't want to take any chances so i moved the torch to the other side of the tank and make it a neighbor to my other frogs, hammers, and torch.
Well it was swaying this morning and i witnessed it stinging my frogspawn.... multiple sweepers out and touching the frog and sticking to it... and the frog retracting...
SMH....
So i had to move the torch again.

My Frog should be ok right? recover?

Torches are funny. Even a good one will one day decide to be a bad neighbor. As the sting. It depends how bad/length of time. I had some that the tentacle stung stayed burned looking for awhile. Either it rehealed or regenerated a new tentacle. One frogspawn go so stung i lost that head. But the torch stung the actual polyp head not just a few tentacles.

In most cases you'll be fine, that's happened too me where I had to cut the tenticle be cause the contraction between my torch and hammer was putting stress on both after a while.
