Has anyone done this to see what the effect on the pH after say a week or a month is? I am curious if it will bring any difference to stabilizing and raising pH.

If you have a link to an article I would love it.

Thanks!

I didn’t record any values to be scientific about it but running a reverse light schedule on my fuge definitely gave me a night time pH bump to help reduce my nightly swing. I don’t see any reason that a chaeto reactor would effect the pH differently than a refugium, they’re both just giving algae somewhere to grow.

I can’t say that there was any change long term though, it was just the nearly instant nightly increase.
