So I am moving out of state and have about a 20 hour drive (including breaks) ahead. I am bringing my nano tank and have a local LFS that is holding and shipping my coral for me.
One question I do have though is any advice on transporting bio media? I am bringing all my live rock, sand, bio media, and four fish in the car with me. I am wondering though if the bio media can be transported only in water in its own bucket or does it need some type or aeration and water circulation like I am doing for the fish? Wouldn't want it all to die on me and to start a mini cycle when I set the tank back up.
Curious to know any thoughts or advice! Thanks!
