Turf algae that "pops"?

After I re aquascaped with dry rock a few months ago I'm starting to get this long skinny algae sprouting from the rock. Very hard to remove... Almost elastic. It basically "pops" and I can't get a piece to remain in tact to get a good microscopic image. Isn't fern-like like bryopsis.

I’ve seen a few algae’s that look similar: if its what I’m thinking it isn’t that bad. Tangs don’t eat it but I’ve seen emerald crabs tear off that stuff
