i have my plumbing figured out. next step is what cement to use gluing PVC to Upvc? ( hacking up red sea reefer plumbing )

not much info out there from what I have found.

think this all purpose oatey will work? says its for PVC, CPVC & ABS ( I know ABS often requires special cement ) but nothing about uPVC from my very limited understanding uPVC is a more pure PVC

anyway here is the link:

I will be onlying be gluing a few joints so it would be nice to be able to use all the same stuff, however if there is a a cement just for the uPVC and it needed i'll get it.

thoughts?

Any PVC cement should work fine with PVC and/or uPVC (cPVC is where it gets more complicated). I am partial to Weld-On 780 myself, but as I said, anything from the local hardware store will do.

hi either is best going reg pvc to black/grey ,latter best blk to blk :)
