Oh man.... hope it pulls through!

That really sucks. Keep us updated if he makes it or not. Fingers crossed!

I think it may have paralyzed him on the side it stung him. I'm really hoping it's only temporary but as of yet he only seems to move the spikes on one side of his body and he hasn't moved from the spot in the sand I put him :(

My urchin fell into my carpet anemone, the anemone than decided to shallow the urchin, then spit the urchin out and the urchin never even blinked.

It all took about 30 minute. I got images lol:D

Urchin was passed on to another reefer about 5 months after this urchin episodes. Hope yours recovers, let us know.

As of this morning the lil guy still has some spines moving but he has lost quit a few and has not moved from the spot.
I'm thinking of trying to feed him but I'm not sure.

Poor lil guy. I love the idea of having an urchin just not brave enough!

Losing spines is a bad sign. :( I doubt feeding would make any difference.

But I did feed my urchins strips of nori on a clip.

Weird because I would think an Haddoni's sting would be more detrimental than an Elegance.

Curious as well regarding how the Urchin is?

So an update on my beloved Vacüúm
For 3 days and he started to lose his spines and wouldn't move from the spot he was in. I decided to feed him that day. I very carefully placed some krill under him. He ate some and some popped up a little. Then later that night when we came home from the gym he had moved up the glass a lil. Now tow days later he is on the back side of the tank.
I don't feed him often but I'm going to from now until I see him fully recovered.

That is fantastic!
