using a beckett 1408

has anyone built a skimmer using a beckett foam injector. mainly i was kinda wondering what you used to hold the injector in place because i t does not really match up with any pvc sizes.

THis is on another forum, but it is a GREAT thread on a huge DIY Beckett Skimmer.

THere are a LOT of companies that use backetts for their skimmers, they do pull TONS of air, but require a huge pump to run them. That is why the current tech has moved away from Becketts and into pin/needle/mesh wheel pumps.

I got mine at Lowe's. I believe they're called some kind of reducers. screw on top and then it slides up and down.
