I was doing some reading on lymphocystis and I read on wikipedia that there were people doing studies on it in Florida and using the drug acyclovir to put the virus into remission. Anyone else try this or know any other information on it?

I haven’t heard about this... I’m guessing it’s an anti-viral medication? My feeling is kind of, since it’s not really a serious threat and usually clears up in its own fairly quickly with clean water and good health/feeding... don’t know if the treatment would really be necessary? But, in the rare more severe cases it could be useful I guess...
Yea I just thought it was interesting that a cure was being worked on. I had a melanarus that got it real bad I'm assuming from the shipping stress and died from I'm assuming the infections from it. So a cure to get it under control would be helpful
