VarioS skimmer pump controller

I have a RO Protein Skimmer S with uses this pump. I thought that the controller gave up on me so I went online and bought a VarioS 4S Controller. Plugged the new controller and it wont work. Pump starts for maybe 2 seconds and stop and both 15 min and 60 min LED light up. Did the get the right controller?

What model is your skimmer? S what?
the blinking maybe a safety feature that indicates someone is stuck in the impeller. Which varios controller will work depends on your model. It’s either the 4 (which you have) or the 6.

It should be elite 200sss. It so happened that my old controller was still working except for the LED indicators so I used it. Skimmer is working as it used to be. But I still want the new controller.
