It's been over 30 plus hours since I noticed and this morning all fish are alive in QT. Wouldn't velvet kill fish before now? 12-24 hours I read

Not necessarily. I think it depends on the severity of the infection.

On to day 3 of QT and still no losses.

All fish moved to next tank. Looks like the worst affected will also lose an eye. Goby had bad clouded eye. Otherwise all fish look to be spot free

You got lucky. I lost over 20 fish in less than 24 hours. Anyone reading this take note. Not quarantined fish is irresponsible. It can and will happen to you. It didn't happen to me for 10 years. You will learn the hard way.
