I order a bottle for the algea which im battling right now. I try looking on google search for my question,but can't find it or not typing it right. My question is,once the algea starts dying. Do i need to remove it manually or is it going dissapear?

Should i leave my protein skimmer off for the time being?

Leave skimmer on. If you can siphon algae out that is always best. If not continue good water change regimen.
