B4 I put my hands/arms in tank I always wash with Ivory soap. It leaves no contaminants since it's 'pure' soap. after washing make sure you rinse thoroughly and dry with paper towels, not bath towels ( they might still have detergent or other chemicals on them from washing). BRS also sells a 'cleaning' soap but is expensive for what you get.The icp test says common sources of zinc are from your hands (lotions/soaps I guess) and contaminated salt and trace elements. They're the experts so I'll listen lol
I'd rather just not put my hands in the tanks everything seems like its doing better since I havent touched it in 2 months gonna do an icp in a couple weeks as a check up lolB4 I put my hands/arms in tank I always wash with Ivory soap. Just an update almost all algae is gone and I mean all chaeto too unfortunately, this is at 1 dose every other day got a Triton test kit coming. My nem is looking a little depressed for the past month or so since starting coral nutrion program from red sea so I've been going back and forth with red sea and acropower seems to be doing better

You can go more aggressive if you up the dose slowly and my tank is a 56 tall so I dont really feel comfortable putting a tang in it. Now I'm worried about getting more chaeto and re introducing algae lolThat's an incredibly aggressive schedule. The bottle recommends dosing weekly/biweekly. I thought I was being aggressive dosing every 5 to 7 days lol. Honestly it does take a while and multiple (like 8+) treatments before bubble algae starts to back off (not seeing huge improvements but definitely noticeable). I do believe I wouldn't see this without some tank inhabitants that picked at it (mostly my yellow tang, I've seen him get noticeably more aggressive picking at the bubble algae since I've been dosing Vibrant, seems to keep the bubbles smaller and easier to pick at for them).
This is a beautiful looking nano you have here. Amazing selection of colour. Well done.I’m a huge fan of Vibrant! I had horrible hair algae everywhere and it was smothering my acropora. After a month, I have one small area left that is losing its grip. I’m starting to get coralline algae and my acropora are growing like crazy. I dosed nitrates and my cyano disappeared. If you get too aggressive with the dosing , your lps will suffer and sps will starve from abrupt nutrient reduction. Slow and steady wins the race. You can see in the photo one small section on the left mid tank where the last patch of algae is. Hang in there!
