So I just added a very small vlamingi tang into my 180 and it’s hiding and not really swimming out and aboot anyone else have a vlamingi and did it do the same thing and for how long? I also have a small hippo and 2 clowns

Unless something is pestering it, it will settle down and come out on his own. I have had fish hide for weeks before being comfortable enough to start acting normally.

Give it some time. I've had mine for 3 years. He started about an inch and a half and was very timid, now hes about 7 inches and very social. He actually likes rubbing against my hand when I'm doing work in the tank and when feeding. I swear he thinks hes a dog. Lol. He spends more time watching us through the glass than actually swimming though the tank.

Small Naso tangs are quite delicate, and can be tough to get eating initially. Important that it is not being bullied.

Here’s an update!! He/she is out and eating!!! I did notice that my hippo would kind of chase it away from his area but he does that to my flame too 4EBABA87-34FC-404E-B61B-26FE334C77BB.jpeg 42884117-B42F-465C-8D20-E77A0C60DF06.jpeg
