I am planning to purchase this for my Nuvo 40 and I don't have a controller. Any pros/cons?
I am currently using Jebao pp4 and still working good.

I have a pair on my 40 breeder with no controller and they work great. Once you find a program you like there is really no need for a controller unless you want to wifi control them to shut them off or go into feed mode. But if youre going into feed mode chances are youre by the tank and a simple push of a button puts them into feed mode
