Vortech placement? I recently moved my MP10 from mid-mid-right placement to back-lower-right placement in my IM lagoon 25gal.
This changed the flow from a direct straight blast on the tank to creating an indirect circular flow to the tank. Tank is SPS dominant.
What do you think? I usually run reef crest mode at 50%...enough flow?
(Nice thing about the move too is that it freed up some real estate for more coral)

By placing it there you likely have more of a swirling current right? I bet it works well like that but it really depends on the coral placement, SPS love flow and lots of it. If you are not moving the substrate you might be able to crank that guy up a little more! :D

Yes, definitely a swirling current. I’ll bump up the speed a little each day and see what happens. This is my first tank with a MP10 and I am just unsure what flow may be too much as it is rated for up to a 40gal tank and mine is a 25gal. In my previous nano I only had one nano koralia and was very successful keeping SPS.
