Wait time for waterbox.

Blue friday sale just passed and I was excited to see what type of deals they had to offer. They had so many great deals and their new frag systems look great, but then when I looked at all their inventory, almost 50% of the items they are selling are not even in stock. The wait time is 6 to 8 weeks. That really ruined it for me as Ive been looking at all their products for about 2 months now and I thought their inventory would be updated with the sale but I guess its now order and they will make it. When I got my 750 xxl, it took 1 month to arrive and I thought that was long but with the 6-8 weeks plus shipping im looking at 3 months of waiting if i buy a 2k tank. With many other similar tanks that ship in a few days, I decided to pass on the WB. Did any of you reefers pass on the deals because of the long wait time?

Yesterday I ordered the 100.3 plus with an mp40, ato, and a nyos 120 skimmer . I thought maybe the tanks would be in stock but no luck . I'm not ready for the tank so the wait isn't that big of a deal for me . hopefully i will be ready when the tank arrives .

I've been waiting on the Blue Friday sale to buy a 180.5 Reef Pro, what a disappointment to find they were not even on sale. To make matters worse, they went up on their prices about a month ago. But with all that said, I bought one anyway, and yes, 6-8 weeks wait time, ugh!

I saw the 190.5 on sale. Isnt that basically the same tank that they are phasing out?

Yes it is, only difference is width front to back, 190 is 26 inch, 180 is 25. Call me crazy, but it makes me curious why they are changing up over an inch in width, so I decided to go the 180 route.

back story...I was between a RS 750 and WB 230.6 last year I bought the RS 750 as it would ship that week where WB was 6-8 weeks out. this year I saved my pennies all year a bought there 5526 peninsula it was on sale for 20% off
just what I wanted to. I emailed them before BF they said they have it in stock but I dont need it until after the move around new year so the wait time for me is a blessing they said they can hold it for me until the Reno on the new house is done. very happy with there CS

6-8 week will go by pretty fast. maybe get your rock cycling?

All my rocks are cycled and ready for a tank. I even bought a 20g long and setup a little reef tank with frags from my 750xxl waiting to transfer to a new tank. Ill be looking at another RS, SCA,IM tank. Doesn't hurt to have another tank. =)

nope they do a sale once a year called blue firday. they did have some difficulty with there site yesterday so they extended it today to not sure what time it end tho.
soon I know that.
looks like it still going at the time of typing this better get on if you want some deals.

I bought a 220 on blue friday, also was not on sale which was a bummer. What gives you the idea that shipping time is a month? I'm with the others where I need the 6-8 weeks to gather everything, but I'm still eager.

Since waterbox is located in Fl, and most likely to ship it from there, its usually 1 month shipping for me on big items. My 750xxl shipped from Tx and it took 1 month to arrive. My fishing kayak shipped from Tx as well took a month to arrive. So im basing it on large items I have purchased before. I live in the northern coast of Ca so it takes awhile for large items to get to me.
