Water Change Question????

So I mixed up a batch of saltwater for a water change and then got dragged away for a week before I could perform sed water change. The mixed water has been sitting stagnant for a week. My question is, is this water still usable for a water change, or should I throw it out and mix up a new batch?


I know it would e best to mix a new batch, I was hoping to save the day takes my RO/DI unit produce new fresh water.

There is no visible buildup or algae in the mixed batch.

It should be fine as I have used water that had sat for longer than a week many times with no issues. I would just mix it up well with a pump for a few hours check the salinity and adjust as needed.
