Just wondering how most of you out there do you water changes. Do you do large volume changes or frequent smaller changes? I used to do larger weekly changes. As of the past 2 months I've been changing smaller amounts 3x per week to see if it has any better results. What do yaw'll think?

Yeah I think you on the right track. I too believe smaller water changes are better for your system. I am setting up a dosing system right now to change a gallon a day.

same here. two 5% water changes a week. I read the other day that there was a system that continueosly changes it's water. Wish I had a hook up like that.

I have a 65 gallon and change out 10 gallons per week. On my 29 bio HQI I change 3 gallons per week.

200G total water volume in my system. I do a 25G water change every 2 months or if i see more algae buildup than usual.

32g total volume on system, changing 4g every 10-14 days. Might change to 2g every week and still make 4g batches, but just only use half of what is made up at a time. But not doing that presently.

On my RSM130 I typically do 2 1/2 gallon 2-3 times a week, I would much rather do more smaller water changes than less frequent larger ones as it lessens the chance of shock if something happens to be off

150 gallons of water in my system. 15-20 gallons every 1-2 weeks. if I'm not busy it's every week. If I am it gets pushed back to two.
