I have several soft coral at the top of my rocks, toadstools, Cespitularia, finger leathers, Kenya tress, etc. The question that I have is when I do my water changes, these coral would be out of water for roughly 20 minutes or so until I get the water added back into the tank. Will that create any issues? Right now, I don't have this issue, because my coral are not fully grown. I really don't want to do the water changes from my sump because it is just a little more complicated to do so. Will this be an issue when my coral start to grow taller, etc? Or do I need to move these coral now?

20 mins a bit rough and some may say they in the wild go through it because of tides going in and out etc but we have them in a fish tank, I would try to reduce the time and if you can move them lower. Just a suggestion good luck
