Tested my water last night:
Cal 480
Alk 7.7
Mag 1470

Are these numbers ok? Coral seem fine.

Thanks!

You could raise the alk slightly to 8.5 or so but the numbers you have work also... There is such a broad range for alk like 7 to 12 I have saw a few times.. I personally like mine between 8 and 9.... If it's holding stable I would roll with it thou nothing wrong with ya got....

evrything looks good and liek said above maybe get alk up just a little i like to keep mine around 9, but like said stability is key!

Ya If your Tank is settling at that level it's spot on. And if you run any carbon source thats what I've read we need to be at.

That is around what natural sea water is at on coral reefs. I see no difference with 8 or 7's in my tank. When I stick with mid 7's I'm very stable on everything else.

I'm new to this hobby and I really appreciate the quick response!

Thank you everyone!
