Waterbox 40.2 help

Hello all, getting back into the hobby. Bought a used waterbox AIO 40.2. I currently just set it up. The water line in my tank is about 1/2 of an inch advice as far as I would like to lower the water in the tank to be about an inch from the rim and with all of the lights in my house on I just noticed that my house is not completely level definitely need new glasses. Please advise

I would drain the tank, level it, and then refill. I also have a Waterbox 40AIO and that tank is designed to operate with the water level about 1/2" - 5/8" below the top of the glass.

I just Googled how to level the tank so I'm off to Home Depot
