My wife discovered that our Clownfish pair laid eggs..... any suggestions on what we do next? This is the first time any of our fish spawn. Please advise.

They are in a display tank with other fish
Unless you want to setup another tank and transfer the clowns with the eggs there is little you can do. The eggs will be free food for the other fish. Good news is chances are your clown will spawn from now on every 3-4 weeks so if you want to raise a fry you can get setup for the next round.

Ah... ok. We kinda figured there wouldn't be much we could do. There are some within the rock so maybe we'll have a few survivors... but thanks for the tip. We'll make sure to get our other tank ready for next time.

No problem! My friend’s pair lays eggs every 3 weeks and it’s always a meal.

In my experience, when the eggs hatch, the fry float/gravitate toward the surface at first, which typically ends with them being pulled through the overflow, if the tank's other inhabitants don't get them first. This normally happens at night, so both "events" are equally likely.
