Just tested my water

Added a peppermint shrimp

That’s the extent of my weekend excitement reef related and otherwise. What has my life come to.

@Rakie where do you sell frags? Do you ship to nor cal?

Oh yes, Chrysler. That is definitely one you dont want to tackle on your own unless you're mechanically inclined. Looking up the service procedure now. You have to remove the air filter box and intake tube, Jack up the vehicle and remove the tire, remove the belly pan, support the engine, remove the engine mount, remove ac bolts and THEN you can finally get at the alternator and remove it ;Nailbiting;Nailbiting my wife used to have a sebring, and working on that was always a fun time. I remember one time I did timing chains and the water pump, not sun as you have no room to work.

What’s the deal with batteries in the front bumper? Chaos

Ugh I know right! About 6 years ago my wifes battery decided to die in the dead of winter. Jacking up the car and replacing the battery while its snowing was so much fun ;Rage

This weekend is an eventful one for the tank. I upgraded my Hydra 26 (none HD) to a Hydra 52 HD. Its like I was blind but now I see. Its shocking how how different these lights are, its like putting on polarized sunglasses for the first time.

I started them at
W: 15
V: 30
R:30
G:5
B:70
RB:90
UV:30

It will be pretty cool to see how everything else reacts. Im also doing a water change. Oh yeah I also added my first fish to a new tank I recently setup a 120. Found a great deal on Blackcap Basslet so I got one.

Last weekend I planned to “keep my hands out of the tank” and ended up replacing a pump, tinkering with my skimmer and adding an unplanned skunk shrimp.

This weekend I PLAN to travel to a really cool lfs about 3 hours away to get some freshwater fish for my planted tank, and shop coral and inverts for my reef tank.

I PLAN to stay away from adding any fish to my tank, as I just added clowns a week and a half ago.

Let’s see how this plan goes this weekend...

Yes I ship. I've got such a large number of contacts at this point I just get randomly hit up by people for SPS. Mostly I post shrooms and stuff for sale.

Water change. Filter sock change out. Clean the skimmer. And oh yea, get a peppermint shrimp out that decided to snack on my hammer. Ugh!!

What kind of car? Alternators can be easy to change on your own depended on application
I agree. Alternator and RAP would have taken over my life . . .LOL. Get that socket set and LED lamp out and 20-40 mins and youre in business.

65 gallon water change on the 300 gallon tank. Actually did one last weekend after using red slime remover. One more and maybe I can put the skimmer lid back on. Looks so much better I can see the coralline again.

Stop the moving process for a weekend to......

Install 5x 220 50 amp circuits for welders, install a 200 amp sub panel, run a crap ton of MC for interior and exterior lighting, run 250' of conduit for the wire for the weld feeds, trace out some other wires to determine if they can be used to go from old 220 lighting to 110 for new led lighting (sadly they did not use standard wire colors, who knows which one is the neutral lol). Along with the random crap of adding outlets here and there and trying to make the building a functional shop.

All in a shop used to build rock crawlers. So after work is done for the day, we will take some crawlers down the road to the rock quarry and maybe, just maybe have some fun.

Best thing is, all of this is for a friend who owns an LFS lololololol.
Did some electrical repairs for a client today, I remember those days of running conduit and wire.
