Weird yellow orb thing

Anyone know what this thing is? Growing under a dead coral. It's about the size of a dime and I just saw the mouth like tube thing coming out of it today

Look up deep se sponge eating on the you tube. It pulls water in through the pores and bows it out the siphon.
Scientists put a bit of dye in the water to see the flow.

Cool stuff.

Awesome! I want to pull the dead coral it's attached to out. Do you think I can scrape it off? I want to keep that part now!

Yea, try to chisel or scrap the rock. an not mess with the sponge much. It might not survive but..... Keep it in the tank.
