I have a 60 gallon lps/softie tank right now. Everything is going well. I plan on adding sps in the future, but want to make sure my parameters are rock solid. I am currently using instant ocean salt and dosing brs 2 part with calcium, magnesium and alkalinity. I plan on switching to Red Sea Blue bucket salt as soon as my current supply runs out. My question is, what should I use to supplement these chemicals? I want to make sure I have all of the essential elements covered to ensure growth and coloration long term. Red sea true colors has intrigued me, but I mainly want to hear from others and their experiences.

Dose ATI Essentials or triton. Plus doing regular water change you should have all trace element in regular range. Otherwise, you have to perform icp test regularly to correct trace element dose amounts

I use red sea traces. I like the product, it’s easy enough to do. If you don’t have a fuge or a lot of coral it’s most likely unnecessary.

You may not need anything, but iron and manganese are among the fastest to deplete.
