The DT is never fishless due to I have other fish that remain in that tank.

The QT tank gets completely reset using new water and medication when it’s set up.

This doesn’t answer the question of how long the tank ran fallow? This will help is in advising you.

Lost the blue hippo tang and the tank was truly never fallow.

I set it up using 100% of the previous tank and adding a bit extra to make it complete. There has always been fish day 1

Tank should probably go fallow, with fish being treated in a QT setup - otherwise, I would expect losses to mount.

Ok so everything is going great although it’s odd that the tanks empty. I found something though that I did not add to the tank. Any one know what it is?

Well down to only one survivor the green spotted puffer. Tore the tank down and am closing out the 125g.

I’m at a loss that I lost just about every one. Not leaving the aquarium world yet though. I’m custom building a stand in preparation for a 180. I’m also going FOWLR. I have a wet dry and am adding a refugium.
