I have more vermetids snails in my tank than I would like. Thanks are the small (smaller than a bb) variety. I no longer keep shrimp because I am tired of them stealing food from my corals so wrasse are an option. I also no longer have hermit crabs and would rather not add them back into my system but would if they are my best bet to control the vermrtids. Any suggestions? Tank is a mixed reef 75 gallon.

I have first hand evidence that yellow boxfish will eat vermetids... however, having one of those imo is probably worse than the vermetids!! Mine has been moved on... lol.

No one else knows of a crab or fish that will eat them? I would bet a Trigger would but that would be counter productive I am sure.

I have heard that six line wrasses will eat them.

+1 on simply feeding less. If you can't feed less, try cleaner feeding habits (i.e. rinsing frozen food, feeding pellets, spot feeding vs broadcast). @aKlevans, I know mine wiped out my spirorbis population, but wouldn't touch the vermetids :(

It’s been four years since anyone has posted and I am wondering if anyone since has had any luck with getting rid of them as they are covering all my rock.
