What is that??

Hi there!

I just found this little ''shell'' a few days ago and i noticed that it does move sometimes so... i am just wondering what it is? Is it a scallop? oyster? mussel?

im excited about it... can't wait to hear from anyone soon!

It just looks like a harmless bivalve of some sort.. These have been known to hitchhike there way into our aquariums sometimes.

oh nice!! thanks for the reply, it definitely looks similar! mine is green/blue though.. it doesnt show on the picutre but anyways! Quite interesting!

Hmm i dont remember exactly, but it's some black living sand i bought at the pet shop... i think the '' brand '' was Hawaiian CaribSea
