I did some research. Is this Cyno? How do I get rid of it? Why did it show up?

Hair algae has been diminishing due to improving water conditions and the yellow tang in the picture.

What are phosphate readings?

Hair algae was probably Consuming both nitrate and phosphate.. Now that nitrates are lower it's dying allowing cyano to feed on phosphates... Lower those and it will go away catch it now or it will be a battle

I have a tester for everything except Phosphate, I think. I have testers for PH, nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia.
