What is this??

Hey everyone! I got this new frag of octospawn today (acclimating currently) and didn't notice this algae (could be sponge or bacteria maybe?) while I was at the store... Ive been trying to find out what it is by searching online but haven't really found much that looks similar so I figured somebody would probably know on here!
The first is side has a bright neon orange, slimy to the touch... thinking this could possibly be some sort of sponge growth?
the other side has some super dark purple almost black stuff... there was more on it encrusted up but when I messed with it to look closer a bit flaked off... thought maybe coraline algae but its SUPER dark compared to the Coraline Ive ever seen...
Any help Identifying would be super appreciated!! Thanks!

I want to say some kind of sponges but Im not sure here. I know someone here on R2R will know what it is tho. Following along!

Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it! Hopefully someone comes around with a definite answer, maybe someone from #reefsquad . Just starting my first tank and don’t want to add something bad in the very beginning!
