Hi can anyone help me identify this thing. One on live rock and 2 in built on over flow box.

It's either aiptasia or majano. Either way, you'll want to read up on ways to get rid of them. Don't just try to pull them off the rock. If you miss any, it'll come back.

Ok thanks everyone for the help going to get a peppermint shrimp to solve the problem.

Definitely aiptasia. I might be seeing another small one under that zoa plug.

Will Nudibranchs be the way to go?

I superglued the hole where I saw a tiny aiptasia, haven't seen another one since (may not be the best method if there are multiple and you can never be completely sure they are all gone but may have worked in my case).

Other methods include natural predation but IMO may not be the best idea to get a berghia nudibranch because it'll starve after it eats all the aiptasia.

Some reefers run hot water over them to kill them but if you have zoas on that rock I wouldn't recommend it just in case of potential palytoxins. Good luck and stay safe!

I grind aiptasia and the surface of the rock using dremel and then superglue area.
